Deletion Request Received Successfully / تم استلام طلب الحذف بنجاح
Your request to permanently delete your account and associated personal data has been recorded. Our Data Protection Officer will process and verify your request within 3 to 5 business days and a confirmation will be emailed to you.
At Used Spare Part, we respect your privacy and provide you with complete control over your personal data. In full compliance with Google Play Developer Policies (User Data - Account Deletion Requirement), Apple App Store Review Guidelines (5.1.2 Data Use & Sharing), and applicable UAE / GCC data protection laws, you can permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time without restriction or fees.
You can initiate the deletion of your account and personal data using either of the following two pathways:
Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)
If you have the Used Spare Part mobile application installed on your Android or iOS device:
- Open the Used Spare Part mobile app on your smartphone.
- Sign in and navigate to the Profile / Settings tab (حسابي / الإعدادات) in the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap the red "Delete Account" (حذف الحساب) button.
- Review the warning confirmation and tap Confirm.
- Your account credentials, profile data, and session tokens are deleted immediately in real-time, and you are signed out.
Method 2: Online Web Request (No In-App Login Required)
If you have uninstalled the mobile app, cannot access your smartphone, or prefer to request deletion via the web:
- Submit Form Below: Fill out the simple Account Deletion Request Form below on this page. You only need to provide your registered email address and phone number. No password or login is required.
- Email Request: Alternatively, you may email our Data Protection Officer directly at privacy@usedsparepart.com or support@usedsparepart.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request", providing your registered email address and phone number.
When your account deletion is processed, the following categories of personal data are permanently and irreversibly purged from our active systems:
- Identity & Profile Details: Full name, email address, phone number, profile photo, date of birth.
- Account Credentials: Password hashes, OAuth tokens, active session IDs, and security authenticators.
- Address & Location: Saved shipping addresses, billing addresses, street details, and GPS coordinates.
- Vehicle Information: Saved vehicles, Make, Model, Year, VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), and engine specifications.
- Device & Notification Telemetry: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push tokens, device identifiers, and notification history.
- Inquiries & Quotations: Custom bounty requests, quotation negotiations, and customer support communications.
In strict compliance with statutory commercial regulations and Google Play policy disclosures, certain transaction records are retained for mandatory legal obligations:
- Completed Financial & Tax Invoices: Records of past completed sales orders, invoices, and payment gateway transaction receipts are retained for a statutory period of 5 years. This retention is mandatory under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. (8) of 2017 on Value Added Tax (VAT) and commercial accounting audit laws.
- Strict Anonymization Standard: When an account is deleted, all retained invoice and financial records are completely anonymized and decoupled from your personal identity (your name is replaced with "Deleted User" and contact information is permanently scrubbed).
- Security & Fraud Prevention Logs: Essential server access telemetry may be retained for up to 90 days before automatic destruction, solely for network security and fraud prevention.
Request Processing Timeframes
• In-App Deletion: Instantaneous (0 seconds).
• Web Form / Email Submission: Acknowledged within 24 hours. Verification and complete database deletion are executed within 3 to 5 business days (maximum 7 business days per policy). An email confirmation is sent upon completion.
